help me design a tatoo

ok, so i'm thinking a double "H" for my and my SO's names. i have gotten only so far as 2 Hs side by side so that they share one middle verticle.

i know you otters are brilliant designers, so a little help? i'm open for any ideas based on that simple beginning. it can be of any influence (celtic, vintage, old world, etc...preferably not aisian though sine we see it everywhere) and it could just be one H with some "flair."

if we find something worth living with we'll post pics afterwards.

Where are you having it put? I don't mind coming up with something, but I refuse to contribute to grafitti on a woman's lower back.

No offense to your relationship...but getting your SO's, name, initials, etc...(anything related to them) might not be the best idea to get permantly added to your body.

As for a suggestion....

S.O.'s come and go, but Boron Cow Punch is forever!!

hmmmm... something that wont look bad when it stretches, sags and fades..

and maybe something small that wont be too bad to remove if you regret it in a couple years.

Do you want to get rid of her?
Because the easiest way to ensure you will break up is to tattoo her name on you. Its a jinks.

Unlike "tatoo" I would make sure it is spell checked before applying.

alright,

1st...i'm the girl.

2nd...it's not our names, it's our initial and since BOTH names start with "H" we are safe

3rd...oops on the tattoo! i knew it looked funny

4th...we've thought long and hard about getting them so you don't have to include the moralizing comments

now, if you would like to contribute a design, i'm all eyes!

So did me and the ex. Its now covered with a big ugly skull. I was considering getting a VOID stamp put over it but I didnt want to see her name anymore.

You might want to be careful, as many people might interpret HH as "Heil Hitler."
88 has the same connotations (as H is the eighth letter of the alphabet.

I agree. It's so much easier disposing of young children.

that's a really good idea though. (the void thing) man, I could just imagine running into an ex whose name I had tattooed and then "voided out"

Didn't Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes do something similar? When she was dating Andre Rizon (sp?) she had his uniform number tattooed on her arm, and after they broke up, she had it tatted over with a big angry "X".

I'm not sure, but it's genius. It's like when Johnny Depp had Wynona'(Ryder, not Judd)'s name tattooed on his arm and when they broke up had it changed to say "wino."

I was at a tattoo shop with my dad and looked thru the guy's portfolio he had on his desk. He had a small section where he showed before and after photos where someone got a shitty tattoo and he covered it up with something better. There was one where the guy had tattooed a picture of his wife/gf on his chest. The tatoo 'artist' added a horned hat, some facial hair, some facial lines, and turned her into a bitchin pirate. Was absolutely hilarious. Not to say that the chick was pretty scary looking in the before picture anyway.

Not sure about this one, but I read that Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue had a "V" tattooed on his arm for his then fiance, Vanity. When they broke up he had it changed to "VI" (Roman numeral for "six"). Pretty clever if true.
