Kerry girls booed... by MTV crowd! Like, OMG!

From the Not Really News But It Made Me Laugh Anyway Dept.

From Drudge...
MTV, ROLLING STONE and the rock and roll establishment -- past and present -- have cast their vote, and their man is John Kerry.

So on Sunday night when John Kerry's daughters were announced to speak at the annual MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS, the MTV youth were expected to welcome his daughter's as pop culture princesses.

Instead, in an era of the unexpected, the daughters of the Democratic candidate were met with cheers -- AND JEERS -- during the live broadcast in Miami.

From the moment Alexandra and Vanessa started speaking, the boos outweighed anything close to cheers, and the reaction turned worse when the daughters asked the VIACOM youth to vote for their father. So shocked by the reaction, the taller of the two daughters tried to 'shhhhhh' her peers to no avail.

Or to learn how to spell "ass" correctly.

The Bush girls were in NY, and they spoke via satellite. They didn't seem to be booed like the Kerry girls, but that could be because they weren't there in person.

I hear Kerry's recommending them both for the Purple Heart because their feelings were hurt.

I saw clips of both appearances.. The Bush girls got booed, but it was a more subtle boo.. almost like people weren't really paying any attention. The Kerry girls were booed much more loudly, and the more they tried to play to the crowd the worse it got.

I think this just shows that our current youth is fed up with politics - and would rather spend their time listening to music about their ho bitches.

Reportedly, they received small arms fire from P. Diddy, but Shine Barrows took the blame.

Since they were via satellite once they switched to the Bush girls the audio from inside the auditorium was dropped a lot. You could barely hear the crowd at all. Once they cut back in you could hear more booing, but I wasn't sure if it was for the Kerry girls or the Bush girls at that point.

It didn't really surprise me that they would get booed, I mean, it was friggin Miami.

Am I really old or was that some of the worst music ever last night? I'm not a fan of pop music but of all the performances I saw, only Christina Aguilera appeared to have any talent.
