If you were wondering about the bad server response a little while ago it was because I did a search for "dork" and "slate" in the same post. Damn near crashed the server!

Well, it's one of my favorite things to read. I've also linked to the Atlantic Monthly, but 1) they've gone over to a subscriber-only format, and 2) the articles were too long and no one ever read them.

Besides, I start threads like pretty much never. This is my one moment in the spotlight and you're trying to ruin it.

Oh, I should have thought of that!

Actually, that's why I clicked on this thread. Just before the server nearly crashed...

Is there any way to search for threads with three-year gaps between posts?

That article makes me ill. This country is going into the shitter, and a lot of the blame for that goes to the Bush family. It's sad that so many Republicans tolerate it, just because it works in their favor - this time. The day will come when this will all bite them in the ass, one way or another.

do you think all those dead people voting in miami are voting republican? This stuff happens everywhere. In minnesota last election people were paying homeless people with cigs to vote for al gore.

odd, that's very similar to what a prof of mine said about clinton and the lying scandals...but that's for another thread.

the article seems to imply that "Gov. Bush's own task force" suggested many good recomendations that the Legislature ignored. How is that his fault?
