How often do you rearrange your furniture?

About every 6 months, this past Sunday I rearranged the bedroom, kept the night stand and bed in the same spot but moved my dresser to the adjacent wall and put the old TV stand (which was in storage) where the dresser used to be. Now I have my old DVD player hooked up to the 20 something year old stereo.

If you saw the size of my apartment you'd know that any shifting of furniture would mean my futon would be on the balcony...so, not at all.

Not very often. Usually when it's out of necessity. The way it is now though, I can't really change much (front projection takes up a lot of real estate in a studio.)

Bedrooms about every six months, but I can't rearrange my living room. The cable connection is on one wall, so I would have to run coax to wherever I put the TV unit, which would be a pain in the neck. Also, I have 1 couch and 2 loveseats, so it would be difficult to switch them around without blocking a doorway or the bay window.

I'm a creature of habit. I'd only move the furniture when I move to a new place.

My wife, on the other hand, rearranges the bedroom, stuff in the dining room, and photos on the wall every few months. She knows I'd freak out if she rearranged the living room (with all the HT equipment; speaker placement!) or my office.

Not very often. Usually only when I get a new furniture will I rearrange my old ones to make room for the new furniture so the right amount of space is allocated for each furniture.
