El Scorcho kept complaining about the BA flying by his work. Like he does anything there to be bothered at all.

Seriously, I work within a stone's throw (my arm, not Deftones') of the airport. Bastards shake the shit out of our building all day long.
It was sweet though, I saw 4 blue angels branch off from each other about 300 feet above my head at lunch today.

Do the Blue Angels visit Portland this time every year? They are always in Seattle the first weekend of August because of Seafair. Sounds like a fun excuse to drive down there. It'd be interesting to see them in a different setting. I've seen them from just about every possible angle here over the years.

I live about 4 miles from the Hillsboro airport, so my wife will stay home tomorrow and watch from home while I taker her dad and uncle to the show.
The Blue Angels were in Seattle last year when we went to a Mariners game. They were flying over SafeCo field as we got to the ball park:

Ergyu - the show starts tomorrow at 11:00 AM at the Hillsboro airport. You'll be able to see a lot of stuff from the Tanasbourne area. There's a MAX stop at the Washington COunty fairgrounds and general admission is $15.

Last Sunday I went to one of those rich neighborhoods to find a spot to watch the show from and I couldn't believe how few of these people were having deck parties. They basically had an air show and hydroplane races going on in their backyard that a lot of people were paying $25 a pop to see and 9 out of 10 of these mansions' decks were empty

C'mon, you have to admit that's no F/A-18.
