Britney Spears and Kid Rock will be at the RNC

I heard that these are two of some other celebrities that will be attending the RNC in support of George W. Bush.

Does Britney Spears and Kid Rock represent conservative, traditional, Republican family values? Do they represent the heart and soul of America?

Britney Spears represents corporate America as does the Republican party. Kid Rock is white trash so it's not surprising he's a Republican. (Not that republicans are white trash, but most, if not all white trash/rednecks I know are Republicans)

Britney is obviously there to represent the sanctity of marriage platform.

This is from the New York Daily news:

Kid Rock confided that once this Iraq business is over and done with, "we should go on to clean up the next country, and then the next one."

Britney Spears: 'Trust our president in every decision'

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A gum-smacking Britney Spears told CNN Wednesday that she has never before kissed a woman and never would again -- unless the woman is Madonna.

http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/Musi...3/cnna.spears/

Here's a portion of her interview:

CARLSON: You're going to be on the National Mall [in Washington, D.C.] soon performing for Pepsi and the NFL and also to support our troops. A lot of entertainers have come out against the war in Iraq. Have you?

SPEARS: Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every decision he makes and should just support that, you know, and be faithful in what happens.

CARLSON: Do you trust this president?

SPEARS: Yes, I do.

CARLSON: Excellent. Do you think he's going to win again?

SPEARS: I don't know. I don't know that.

But will they perform?

Maybe we can get a choreographed number with Britney Spears in the schoolgirl outfit with Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld and Ashcroft doing backup.

Maybe Ashcroft and Kid Rock can do a duet of "Picture"

If I was Bush, I'd politely ask Spears and Rock to not show up.

How quickly we forget the Democratic Convention

Now liberals are making fun of celebrities after their star studded event?

I don't remember many liberals defending the DNC celebs when the republicans goofed on them. Is it only okay for republicans to talk trash? Figures.

I'm just saying that if you compare just celebs of the RNC and the DNC, I'd much rather have the DNC celebs in my corner over Spears and Kid Rock (both terminal idiots... next thing you know, they will get Tara Reid too ). None of it has anything to do with politics... it's just another dumb thing to start a thread about and argue.

No, simply quietly chuckling over the fact the the "defense of marriage" president finds Britney Spears an appropriate poster celeb.

Liberals can't seem to come to terms with the fact that the RNC actually does have a big tent where people can express views that do not fit the typical idea of a Republican.

Hmm...usually when a celebrity expresses a polical opinion, all the Otter Conservatives are quick to post that said celebrity should "STFU." Yet, I see no flurry of posts like that in THIS thread from those folks. Gee, I wonder why?

Britney Spears kisses another woman on live TV and is a Republican? Whoa I thought conservatives were all uptight church-goers.

If I had to hedge my bets, I would guess Britney Spears has the political acumen of a walnut. A politically-retarded walnut.

I doubt Kid Rock is any better.

I wonder if Governor Schwarzenegger is going to speechify?
