I just did 6 loads and damn if it wasn't hot!!!

Laundry day around here ALWAYS SUCKS.

Our washer & dryer are in the backyard and it was hot as HELL out there in the laundry room. Musta been near 100 degrees today!!!

But at least it's all done for another week.

Being a "House Frau" isn't all child's play ya know!

&

How many loads do you usually do?

THEEK FRAU!

I have to do two loads. I always wash my underwear and socks seperate from the rest of my clothes. I don't like the idea of my shirts being drenched in dirty underwear water.

Same here....living by myself makes laundry day pretty easy.

Your washer and dryer are in the backyard?

Be still my achy breaky heart.

My mullet gets stiff just thinking about it.

Shore is!

You see...

We keep the scrub board and the rocks right next to the clothes line, and the out-house is pretty near a stones throw away, so we don't have to go too far to drop a weaser!

(The laundry room is located on the backside of the apartment house.)

You guys...

THEEK!

Hey you guys are lucky, my washing machine is in my bedroom.

Long story, short, our house was built in the 30's and 40's and when we moved in, in 1967, one room was the washroom, which had the washer in it.

Well in the 70's I got my own room, yee haw, and you guessed it, it was the washroom. It is a pretty big room for a washroom and has a small (1/2) bathroom and a small closet. Well fast forward 30+ years later and I'm still living in the washroom, so when I wash my clothes, I wash them in my bedroom.

Now the dryer on the other hand, is in the kitchen, cause that's where the gas outlet is.

Oh and by the way, I wash 2 loads also, colors & whites!

Chris

Howdy, Mr. PR!!!

(...and possible "Son"... & )

Our place was built around the same time: the 30's I believe.

Since we're not so distant neighbors, you know as well as I, from Silverlake to West Hollywood, many of the great old houses still remain!

THEEK!

I did a quick load of mixed colors and whites yesterday and moronically included a new t-shirt. Now I have half a dozen each of pink/purple socks and undies.

And I mean that in all sincerity.

Personally, I do as many "loads" as it takes to get the job done!
