Ever felt invisible in The Land of OTT or The Otterless Wasteland (Material World)?

I saw something somewhere where the punishment for crime was that the guilty received a seal on their forehead for the duration of their sentence, and that seal was a symbol to the public at large that person was guilty of breaking the law in one way or the other, and no one was to talk to them, or acknowledge them in any-way whatsoever, and if they did, they'd be breaking the law and in turn possibly receive the same seal of invisibility.

If they tried to cover it up with a hat or scarf or hair, the seal would burn a hole through whatever it was that would attempt to cover it up.

I've often thought that I was invisible.

I spend a lot of my time alone (working on my artwork), so it's not so unusual for me to think this way from time to time.

It can get frightening sometimes.

Is it just me, or do you share this stealth eventuality?

Ever felt invisible?

-Paul

I like to think that it's stunned silence. People read my what I write and are shocked into comas because they've never read anything as amusing or profound.

Or the ignore list thing.

I like to think the same thing, too, but I secretly know the truth.

TEK, I know how you feel. When I post a thread and no one replies within a certain amount of time I usually delete it. Im not going to let people show me how uninterested they are in me.

Waiting for MJKTool to share his observations. I know he's complained about feeling like that before.

Sure do, and not just in threads started by someone else. I start what I think is a good thread and get maybe half a dozen responses, while a thread titled "How Loud Are Your Farts?" goes nine pages.

You gotta put links to your threads in your sig, like me. Blatant self promotion is the only way to go! Having over half of the posts in the thread helps too

And all this time I thought I was the only one who was constantly ignored. Gosh, it's nice to be in such good company.

When is the stress test? WHEN you ask????

Every-time damn time I open a letter from Cedars-Sinai!!!

I'll go when they get the diagnosis right.

You see, they keep putting, "Diabetes Type II controlled/Please consult patient for Diabetes" on the referrals!

Well, guess what? I DON'T HAVE diabetes. The Dr. already confirmed that, but they keep putting it on my referrals, and if I let them slide with this, it'll become a part of my medical record & history, and in the future my word against theirs, and well, it's a misdiagnosis plain & simple and That. Is. That!

Regarding how I'm feeling:

I've still got the left arm pain/ache/numbness/tingling pinched nerve thing, but other than that (and the Great Misdiagnosis of 2004), I've been feeling absolutely G-R-E-A-T!

(Oh, and thanks for askin', MT! )

THEEK!
