Cool weather rocks

In a previous thread I said I hate August. I'm sorry August, I loved you this weekend. I thought I could smell football in the air way down here in the south.

We've had an awesome July, and August so far has been pretty great too. We hit a few mild scorchers early on in August, but this weekend was amazing.

If this is the effect of global warming, God bless it!

Just like last summer, we have had only a few hot/humid weeks here and there - no more than two weeks at a time. I'm loving it. It beats the traditional two-three months of sweating your ass off the minute you step out the door. It's nice on the power bill, too.

Yeah, August has been unusually cool so far. The crispness of September is right around the corner.

This has been one of coolest, nonhumid summers in my area I can remember. Sure is nice.

Weather is awesome. Haven't needed the A/C for the past few days. Temps look like they're only getting better too.

Pretty cool August for me as well. High of only 65 for the next few days.

I suppose it could be worse than it is here, but if florida was ever anything but hot and humid I'd start worrying about the apocalypse.

It was really nice here, in the 70's and we couldn't believe that the stupid local newscasters and weather person were actually complaining about it! They were saying stuff like "Up next, find out if we'll get some real August weather soon" and stuff like that. My husband and I were making fun of them, like "Ooh, it's 74 degrees outside, doesn't that suck?"

Are these people nuts? Usually August is hot and humid and sticky here, but it has been pretty damned perfect weather lately. I can't believe people actually want it to be hotter.
