I'm looking for some Cereal not sold in the States...

This may sound strange, but a friend of mine studied abroad in France for half a year and absolutely loved this one cereal they had there called Chocos from Kelloggs. I've been trying to find some way of getting a few boxes for her, but haven't been able to find anyway to obtain it here in the US.

Any DVDTalker's from outside of the states have this cereal and can ship some to me? Naturally i'd pay for all the costs as well as extra for your time

Hmnnnn ... trying to get "in" with her huh?

A noble cause to be sure.

Have you checked any local importers yet? I'd phone around. There's bound to be some store or person that will have the ability to import something like that or at least consider it. You can then find out whether it's worth your while.

Otherwise there's gotta be some online store specializing in imported French goods or items available only in Europe and so forth.

Good luck.

Uhm, yeah, just buy a box of Coco Puffs, they're exactly the same thing.

I think you can find them in Canada. I bought a box in Vancouver, BC--I think. They use a slightly different chocolate flavoring for these "Cocoa Puffs". Same with their Kit-Kat's, but the US Kit-Kats taste much better.

I agree. We have an independent international supermarket that has a constant and enormous supply of stuff like this. I plan on going there Tuesday, so I'll see if there's anything in the French section beyond wine, cheese, and white flags.

Cappucino Mueslix. The greatest cereal ever, and it cannot be purchased in the States.

HAHA! I had the exact same problem, when I lived in the states. I merely accepted that Chocos don't exist there.

Did a search on ebay with no luck. I found one site in Canada and tried to order some, but i just recieved an email from them saying they are out of stock and won't have any until November.

The Chocos hunt continues...

Fumanstan, I was bored and needed groceries, so I went to the international market today. They had no French cereals whatsoever, unfortunately.

We had a store called MacFrugal's here for awhile and they had foreign cereal. I bought a box of Arab Kelloggs Corn Flakes from there once. The writing on the box was all funky.

Choco Krispies. With the Monkey on the box. God, that cereal was awesome. Too bad you can't get it here.

Chocos sounds like Cocoa Krispies. Wouldn't that be a suitable substitute?
