Let me just say, what a pain in the ass this has been to organize (the next president is responsible for finding someone next year)...but it has been worth it, just to see some of the rediculousness this has caused.
Kudos to all the canidates, pundits, voters, lurkers, photochoppers, PAC's and especially the mods, for putting up with what some less secure personalities could have considered an infringement on thier power.
This election (no matter who wins), has highlighted the true power of the Otter farm. I know we have some new lurkers here...those who have heard of the insanity and checked us out for the first time...now my call to all otters...lets keep these new members (try to clue some of US in on those inside jokes...there poisoin to n00bs)...let otter grow and flourish.
I came to DVDtalk a year ago for Columbia House codes...but Otter keeps me here. Lets share this with all. It could only make the place better...this coming from a guy who almost exclusivly posts in political threads.
So I took my interest (politics) and found a way to channel it into something everyone could enjoy...lets all make this our new cause.
Enough pontificating, thanks everyone!

Tommy Ceez,
I want to personally thank you for you efforts in this matter. It has been a great deal of fun, and I know we all have appreciated your work ... even if you're only now learning how to spell the word "candidate."
Thank you.

Indeed... Tommy, this election has been quite a success as well as a good bit of fun. Regardless of the outcome of this election, this was a brilliant idea and a premier way to alleviate tension in the forum.
You sir, get my vote.

Jack Bauer: I haven't slept in 24 hours, I've killed 2 people since midnight, so maybe you should be more afraid of me than you are now.
Don't trust Jack Bauer! Vote Trigger!
