For Those Who Shave Their Heads

I was in Rite Aid pharmacy today and I saw the coolest thing.

It's a razor called HeadBlade that's designed for shaving one's head. Has anyone tried it? I cut my head again with one of those damn disposables the other day and swore I would have to find a better way to get rid of my hair. I would have bought this razor but I didn't have the $12.99 + tax. I hope they still have it when I go back.

You didn't have the $12.99 + tax? No checkbook, no cc, no nothin'?

I saw this reviewed a few months back. Apparently is is amazing and gets the job done in 30% of the time.

I just finished working out at the gym and had left my wallet at home. Normally I would have some change in my car, but today I rode my bike to the gym. Thankfully, I'm not so poor that $12.99 + tax would break me!

Is there another model with the extra 20% included...?

Highly recommended, i have been shaving my head for
15 years and the headblade honestly "cuts" the time
in half.

If you go to their website they have a few different
colors and a signature series but the basic yellow
model does the same job for less $$$.

It may take a little while to get used to and be
sure not to press down too hard as you will wind
up with bumps and razor burn, just let it glide
over your head and try to get some shaving oil
for a smoother and even faster shave.

I could never shave my head alone. Back when I used to keep it shaved I always had to have help to do the back. Luckily at the time my roommate was also my cousin, so I had someone there to do the back of my head for me.

Exactly. I never understood how people could shave their whole head by themselves. I don't shave my head completely, but I've always wanted to try it just once, just for kicks. Perhaps I should with this puppy. I'd still be hesitant to use it without someone to do the back.

Nah, not gonna shave *my* head because my hairline isn't behind my ears yet (so I don't qualify!).

Like I said in my other thread that got closed...I shouldn't have used the word racist, it conjures up too many really bad images etc... but one thing that really does piss me off about black guys is how much better they look with a shaved head

I was always told I looked really scary and intimidating with a shaved head. I guess that could be useful in some situations, but that's not really the look I was going for.

I'd love to shave my head again. It's so much cooler and more comfortable, ecspecially being in TX during the summer. But, since I'm trying to get a job in sales, I don't necessarily think intimidating is the look I should try to cultivate.

Then again, maybe I could always bully and scare the potential customer into buying....

I bought one of these right after they came out. Overall it's a cool thing; the big problem is that, while it's great for shaving your HEAD, there is still the rest of your face to shave, and it doesn't work at all well on faces.

Get a tan, and you won't look like a skinny-head.

But you will look like Mr. Clean.
