The US exports more cotton than the next 20 countries combined.

I had no idea they even grew soybeans in this country. I thought they all came from Asia.

With 2 landmines and 2 SheepMates remaining, I think it's safe to say that ANYTHING can happen.

Didn't say it wasn't. I just figured cotton or tobacco would more common. Reepish, if you will. But then the 2 states I've lived in most of my life are tobacco states.

It's not close. And there have been many stories in the news, including some in this forum, that discussed how former corn, wheat, and other fields have been re-planted with soybeans.

Grundle says that in terms of dollars, soybeans is #2 in the US, only behind corn.

I picked soy - tobacco was going to be my second choice. Surprised it was that low.

I don't think I will do very well with the next sheepmate unless people really like the sharks with lasers.

Well, Big Bean needs to get on the ball and name a Bowl after themselves if they want anyone to know about them.

The link you posted had a footnote for Ohio showing that the table used the low-end estimate. If you search out the PDF they mention in the footnote (which I did, it is here), you will see that the high-end estimate for the pre-existing gap was $1.3 billion, which if you add it to the $1.9 billion additional mid-year gap, means that Ohio's FY 2009 budget was as low as $2.6 billion but as high as $3.2 billion. So I think it should count.

You can't say with certainty though.
