Bullet point four clearly states:

You may not cheat by using Google, Wikipedia, etc. Use only what's in your head.
Why did you write that exactly? Unless you work for a marketing research company or the US Census Bureau, I don't see the reason.

Is there a pattern in your other answers?

United Technologies Corporation Who?
Amazing Grace & Chuck A movie on the IMDB with only 733 votes.(Less than Bébé's Kids!)
Charles W. Fairbanks, whom you wrote a report on in the 5th grade?

Who knows the exact name of their MSA, with proper hyphens and everything?

I'm going to leave this in the hands of Encyclopedia Brown and the rest of the players. Make your case! I will be back late this afternoon.

Tracer, do you tell your friends and family you live in New York, Queens, Astoria, or do you say, "I live in New York dash Northern New Jersey dash Long Island, NY dash NJ dash PA."

Amazing Grace and Chuck is a relatively well known movie, at least I always thought so, particularly if you are a basketball fan.

Hang him!

We need a car battery and some nipple clamps to get the truth out of him

I usually just say I live in New York or Astoria, depending on who I'm talking to.

Really? United Aircraft was split into Boeing, United Airlines, and the company I named.

If you think I don't know obscure movies, you don't visit the Movie forum that much.

I named the vice president to the only 20th century president on Mt Rushmore. Yeeah, he's real obscure.

I don't see how many people would this, but you might, so okay. But you specifically answered "United Technologies Corporation", not "United Aircraft"...

I would agree, after doing some research, that it's only a well-known movie among basketball fans. Oddly enough, the NBA playoffs are currently happening, and I don't see any posts in the sports forum from you.

Um, yeah, he's pretty obscure, actually.

All these things take separately wouldn't raise any red flags, but all together, combined with the "copied from Wikipedia" feel of the metro area question... doesn't look good, my friend. Doesn't look good.

I see United Technology posters all the time here in NY subways and PATH.

I was going to answer Baltimore-Washington for this, but I didn't think they had 3+M. I can't remember what I actually chose.

I also know a disturbing amount about Evan Bayh and Sam Brownback because of a high school report.

I'm pretty sure Baltimore and Washington are considered separate. I'm pretty sure Washington is 3+M by itself.

I did a major 8th grade report on the Battle of Chattanooga. It was an oral presentation so I had to memorize the damn thing. I couldn't tell you one damn thing about it now. Granted I'm 25 years removed now.

Yea google reveals it's Baltimore-Towson, which is what I must have been thinking - although since Baltimore-Washington is not a CSA, I avoided a wrong answer for the wrong reasons.

Re: Politics & World Events (Reverse) Sheep, Round 2 — Electric Obama-Loo

No one will know for sure if the rules were broken except for the individual participant. It certainly looks suspicious, and is compounded by the circumstance that the participant in question currently leads the game. Obviously avoiding the potential embarrassment to 'come clean' motivates one to stay the course, but if one maintains they are on the up and up with regard to the game, I'd think we have to let it go. If a person that violates the spirit of the rules and ends up the winner...well, we can only hope that that participant's inner shame would overcome any lasting feelings of joy or superiority.

Having grown up in the Baltimore area (just outside Towson no less), I can tell you that nobody calls it "Baltimore-Towson."

If Washington has hyphenated additions, nobody here says that either. It's either Washington or just "DC" whether you live in the city or burbs.

Well yeah I wouldn't have typed Baltimore-Towson. I'm from Pikesville - it would not have occurred to me either.
