Re: Politics & World Events (Reverse) Sheep, Round 3 — Hypersheep

Regarding the state matching bonus, if one was to hypothetically answer all the state questions with the same state and they were all correct answers, that's the best possible outcome?

Re: Politics & World Events (Reverse) Sheep, Round 3 — Hypersheep

Well, the State Matching Bonus is a triangular sequence, meaning:

Pairs (# of): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...

are given a bonus of:

Bonus (points): 1, 3, 6, 10, 15...

Since there's a cap of 15 points, it doesn't make sense to match a state in more than six questions.

I didn't want to make it all about the bonus and even the max bonus of 15 gives you a bonus of 2½ points per question (15 ÷ 6), so the focus should still be on the S/RS questions.

I hope everyone's quacking in their boots for #29.

Depending on the number of players, it could be quite brutal.

I might answer 'confusion' for all the state question, as in "state of...."

Ah, I thought there might be a duck on one of those logos.

There's certainly a buffalo.

Buffalo = patriotic
ducks = not patriotic

Capitals = patriotic
[9/11] United = unpatriotic

You know they had the nickname 5+ years before Sept 2001, right?

Question for the Bus: Does Pharoh need to send his answers to you separately, or will you simply cut and paste from my answers?

It would save me some time.

Bus,

Could you just change a couple of his poorer answers for me though first? Thanks.

Bump for any stragglers.

For what it is worth, I thought most of these questions were easier than last time. Well, at least I thought less about most of them. A few, I simply guessed completely.

This is the funniest thing you've ever posted. It may be the only funny thing you've ever posted, come to think of it. It was worth the wait.
