It’s also 2nd to last row in the top deck. Probably a decent shot they can acquire them.

Well, glad I bought them when I did, the show sold out before the presale was over and many people in the presale didn't get tickets, and it had dynamic pricing so pricing was all over the place and even cheaper seats were going for hundreds of dollars.

Artist Pre-Sale starts tomorrow at Noon PT. Emails go out today.
Citi Pre-Sale is apparently on now and tickets are still available. Here's proof

I just bought two Lower Bowl, Section 17, Row T side view seats for $330 each + fees for the Wednesday show.
That is the first show of the tour.

I checked out tickets here in Chicago when they went on sale and yeah the prices were insane. The floor and first level were $800 to $1500. The cheapest seats in the upper corner of the third level was still $300. I guess I'll just rely on the memories of seeing her some 16 years ago.

Actually Deb, it just occured to me the mistake the folks on reddit are probably making : They're looking at Ticketmaster, which is only selling resale tickets for the Vegas shows.
T-Mobile Arena is an AXS venue. The pre-sale tickets are being sold through AXS, not Ticketmaster.

Citi Code 412800 (first six of citi card)

Edit: Forgot to mention Citi presales don’t do dynamic pricing. They have expensive and cheaper tickets but the prices don’t change and are the standard prices. On Ticketmaster you can sort my Citi (if it’s one of their shows). It’s the same for Amex presales from the few I’ve done but not nearly as many as Citi. Come to think of it I would expect all the company ones (Spotify, SiriusXM, Verizon, T-Mobile) skip dynamic pricing.

I'd never go to something this big but it's still cool. Free concert on Copacabana Beach in Rio.

Re: Lady Gaga - MAYHEM - 3/7/25

I do wonder why a major artist does a huge free concert, especially on the outset of a world tour. Is it for the publicity it generates? There has to be all sorts of costs involved, and security risks. I mean it's nice for the people of Brazil, but don't see a ton of upside for the artist. Maybe the Government subsidizes it?
Edit : Yes it's subsidized by the Government to bring an economic boom to Rio during the slow season apparently.

The large-scale performances are part of an effort led by City Hall to boost economic activity after Carnival and New Years' Eve festivities and the upcoming month-long Saint John's Day celebrations in June.

"It brings activity to the city during what was previously considered the low season – filling hotels and increasing spending in bars, restaurants, and retail, generating jobs and income for the population," said Osmar Lima, the city's secretary of economic development, in a statement released by Rio City Hall's tourism department last month.

I saw the opening show last night. Thought it was incredible. My seats were surprisingly good, on the left side of the stage and just a little bit in front. It's an eclectic crowd there. Big LGBT turn out. Lots of folks in costumes and make up. As my wife said, "All the Theater Kids are out here tonight ". The show was very elaborate with lots of dancing and many costume changes. She played a lot of deep tracks and 12 of the 14 songs on MAYHEM, so if you go, I hope you are familiar and like that album. Gaga sounded great and many songs were staged very dramatically and imaginatively. We really enjoyed it. Show went from 8:30 to 11. Gonna be tired today.

The encore was very cool, taking Gaga from back stage, removing makeup, back through the corridors and eventually back on the stage, singing my favorite MAYHEM song the whole time. It was really cool.
Here's someone's video of it (sorry for their singing)

Here are a few pictures I took. I am especially fond of that first one - one of my best concert pics in recent years.

That was my experience when I saw her a little over 15 years ago. She had a few pop hits (I think Bad Romance had just been released) and I thought it would be fun to take the kids to see her, then we show up in the middle of what looked like a pride parade.

New video directed by Tim Burton

Decker 09-03-25 03:07 PM

Re: Lady Gaga - MAYHEM - 3/7/25

I mean, it's fine, but isn't Tim Burton a little overqualified to direct a fairly standard Gaga dance video?

Also, it's kind of soon to put out a post-album single and music video? Especially since there are a lot of bangers left from that album; even How Bad Do U Want Me? still hasn't been released as a single.

FWIW, I think this album should be a front-runner for the Album of the Year Grammy (the eligibility period just closed Saturday). Her team should be building her case with potentially another hit from it.

Edit : There's a version of the album with The Dead Dance occupying the #9 track, between Zombieboy and LoveDrug. Don't know when that version came out.

The Miami show was cancelled 40 minutes before the start time. She must have been hoping she would be well enough to power though until pulling the plug. Her schedule is insane. Leading up to this she had 6 shows in two cities over eleven days plus rehearsals and it doesn't let up.
