TMZ reported he had died earlier this week, then walked back the report. First time I had ever seen them do that. Figured he wouldn't be around much longer.
"Breathless" is an amazing song.

I have to admit I assumed The Killer had moved on many years ago. RIP.

I bet Lewis could tell some wild tales about his early days in Rock. He was a superstar in the 1950s. Brought an energy to music I don't think anyone else was duplicating.

Jerry Lee Lewis performing on the back of a truck in motion just because it's cool, in High School Confidential.

Who would have thought Lewis would be the last member of the million-dollar quartet to pass away? And he lived for 45 years after the death of Elvis? I have always been a huge fan of Jerry Lee Lewis. Our family went to Memphis in June, and we took the Sun Studios tour. It was amazing to say the least.

To think, Jerry Lee married his 13-year-old cousin and that pretty much killed his career while Elvis started seeing Priscilla when she was 14 and he was 24 and not a word was said.

A true loss of a legend. Also can't believe he was the last of the Million Dollar Quartet to still be around. Never got a chance to see him but the music was amazing.

Saw him about 10 years back in New York. He was looking pretty frail even then. The show was short, but he still played with a ton of energy. I don't mind his country period, but it's a shame he wasn't doing rock for very long. He had some real bangers.

I never really watched his annual telethons, but I did like a few of the movies he did with Dean Martin. RIP

If there were nomination for the worst joke, this would be mine.
