Looks like they’re returning to their older vibes, this time with some great duets, which is great in my book. I like everything they’ve done, so I’ll be getting this no matter what.

Songs yes, but I meant in the vein of The Big Come Up and Thickfreakness. More garage band style blues.

Yes. I am super pumped about this. I was/am a huge fan of their early stuff, and this looks to be a return to that.
