Yeah, "aging gracefully" appears to officially be off the board.
There was a time when she was doing Ray of Light and American Pie that I thought hey maybe she'll just reinvent herself as the decades moved on and age into it, but nope. She hit 50 and just lost it.

Re: Madonna - Madame X
I disagree with BchbDaddy that all Madonna was known for were her antics and occasionally trend setting clothing outfits, as her early albums have some great songs on them, and even though her voice may have been tinkered with during the production of these albums, there is enough concert video of Madonna that indicates she indeed had an arguably great musician's voice for a fairly long period of time, she had that "It" factor for quite a stretch of time, but then it became evident that for a variety of reasons, she should have gracefully transitioned from one stage of her career to another.
If she took good care of her voice as someone just a few posts upthread mentioned, she might have had a shot at a Vegas Residency about 5-10+ years back, but now she looks like a woman who has had too much plastic surgery/implants done all over body, and is wearing wholly inappropriate outfits at this stage of her life/career, the only thing Madonna seems to be calling attention to now is how shocking her downward career path trajectory has been over the years.
Madonna was at one point one of the most popular musicians on the planet, that was not simply the case because she wore a bullet bra and put out that SEX book, she had a pretty unique voice, and could rock quite a few outfits, and some solid dance moves, in other words, she was a talented artist but has certainly not transitioned from one stage of her career to another gracefully.

Madonna, take note. This is how you grow old naturally and gracefully. Here is Sheryl dressed age appropriate singing a song about her kids. Not on social media looking like she got stung in the face by 100,000 bees wearing a see through top.
