Re: Pearl Jam -- new album coming
I was going to start a thread for this but was waiting for the official album announcement. Probably my favorite band and I think somewhat under appreciated aside from their fanbase. My vehicle is basically stuck on Pearl Jam Radio. Hoping when they tour to support this new album they come somewhere close to me.

Maybe this is why Eddie Vedder played on the Oscar show. Getting Pearl Jam back on people's mind.

Haven't been a huge fan of their recent few albums, but always looking forward to new PJ.

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year and have remained active as far as touring and stuff pretty consistently. I see them more as a band who does what they want when they want for their fans and themselves but don’t necessarily strive to be in the spotlight.

It just seemed surprising seeing him on the telecast. Usually they just play music.
