That reminds me, Korn kicks off a track where they seemingly argue about how to kick off playing a song called Clown (swearing involved):

I used to enjoy Korn a good bit but even at their peak, that duet with Durst was fucking garbage.

The first one that came to mind was already mentioned, She Has a Girlfriend Now w/ Reel Big Fish and the Save Ferris chick.

This stupid song dominated the radio in 1993. So sick of it playing everywhere I went.

I love the tune so much that I can watch these three back to back.

Gotye released one hit song and then disappeared. Now he's just somebody that we used to know.

This one kind of fits the bill. Guy keeps trying to get it on with a chick and she keeps rebuffing him (all in car-speak).

Empire of the Sun did a cover version a few years ago that was pretty terrible. Although I kind of think that Luke Steele did that intentionally because he knew he couldn't improve on the original.

Hayes Carll - "Another Like You"

Loved this song since it was released years ago, but it's even more timely with how politically polarized everyone is now. At least it has a happy ending. :)

I kind of like his duet partner in this live version better, though...

It does and I'm sad that it took so long to be mentioned.
