Died from brain cancer.
Fuck cancer this really sucks. Loved Ingram's talent. One of the best vocalists ever.

Debbie Allen was actually the 1st one who broke the news of his passing. Apparently they were really good friends
This one hurts. I grew up on Ingram's music through the 80's and 90's.

Just Once is seriously one of the best songs of the 80s.

Quincy Jones statement on the passing of James Ingram. He produced many of his hits.

Very sad to hear of his passing. The man had outrageous talent as a vocalist. "One Hundred Ways" from Quincy Jones' The Dude album is one of my absolute favorite tunes.

Don't forget the duet (and accompanying music video) he did with Linda Ronstadt: "Somewhere Out There" for An American Tail.
