Re: Foo Fighters -- "Concrete and Gold" -- 9/15/17

Haven't bought the new album yet but Sonic Highways took me a while to really like. Kinda disappointing that it sounds like this might be the same way. I agree though that I don't think they're past their prime yet.

For me, "Sunday Rain" is the standout track, and pretty different from most of what they've done.

I don't like most of the forced screaming on the album.

Other than the three singles, I really don't care much for the record. Just seems sort of incomplete.

Like:

T-Shirt
Run
La Dee Da
Dirty Water
Concrete and Gold

On the fence:

The Sky is a Neighborhood

The rest:

Just don't care for it

Looks like they are never going to shake things up a bit, oh well, at least I get a couple of good songs out of each release.

Very good album, way way way better than Sonic Highways. Whole album is listenable.

My top 3 favorite are:

Run
Make It Right
La Dee Da
