The little growl the Page does going into the solo at 3:35

The transition at 3:15 to one of their best musical segments ever. Plants exclamation is right on point

Pick any time...

This must qualify as one of the most powerful transitions I have heard. In "If Only for the Moment", when the guitars and drums kick in around the 2:07 mark, and the drum beat continues to the end of the song. It lifts the song from good to great.

The bridge between guitar solos in The Number of the Beast.

When the heavy part kicks in on The Last in Line.

Complete Control by The Clash. The transition starting at 1:41 is quite brilliant and transforms a great punk rock tune into what might be the greatest rock song ever.

I still remember the first time I heard the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, buying their first record without ever having heard a note of their music. The transition at 1:05 just came out of nowhere. Now, you all have probably heard the band because they struck it big a few years later so it won't be as big a surprise to you, but for me it was something I was totally unprepared for.
