Glad I saw them last night because I can't make the Rose Bowl show.

Also, last night was awesome but kinda bullshit. They came on an hour late and only played about 10 songs. Sucks considering tickets were not cheap.

Any idea at the cost of tickets?
I alerted a family member and he said he saw tickets were at $140 and those were the cheap ones.
He works at the Sports Arena here and was able to ask someone. He may be fuckin with me as they are here on my birthday so maybe he's getting tickets, but if that's the price, fuck that noise.

Watch Metallica and Lady Gaga's Grammy Performance With No Audio Issues

The clip is from the web feed of the broadcast apparently carried James Hetfield's mic...
TMZ reported that a stagehand accidentally unplugged the Metallica frontman's mic.

Great stuff. Gaga is so hot! Would love to see her perform with other metal bands like Iron Maiden.

Got tickets for the Chicago show this morning in the Citi presale. I've seen Metallica a ton of times before (although the last time was 1991), but I'm taking my nephew.

Tried the presale, available seats were no good. I'll try again on Friday.

I'm contemplating the Whiplash experience. It's an extra $300, but I'm mainly considering it for the early entry to the GA floor. It also comes with a dinner buffet and drink, and you get to pick out a tour shirt, maybe that's worth $100 of the extra cost.

I just can't justify paying that much to sit in a seat. Saw them back in 2010 and was maybe 5 feet from the stage and only paid $100. Can't stand Avenge Sevenfold either.

Nevermind - I'm not going. Tickets on the floor are $155 not including fees. I will pass.

I really want to go but I don't know if I can justify the price. I'm going back and forth on it.

Ive never seen Metallica live and theyre coming about 2 days after Iron Maiden and Ghost.... considering Ive seen Maiden a TON and Ghost as headliners, I think its time to catch Metallica. My friends got the $150 tickets..... I think Im gonna take the plunge.

I hope there's another leg. They need a KC date.

I could probably do St. Louis (but I fucking hate St. Louis), and Denver is a Wednesday. We could probably take that whole week off and do Denver. Don't want to do a festival, so Colombus is out.

I bit on the "Unforgiven Experience" at $250 for the Houston Show at NRG Stadium. Ended up with aisle seats in the lower bowl so I'm happy with the location. I saw them way back during the And Justice for All tour, but as part of a festival so we didn't get a full set. I went for the pricier ticket since my niece is a huge fan of Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold and figured she'd love feeling like a "VIP" and knocking two more bands off her favorites list (took her to Black Sabbath last year).
