I was thinking of hitting this up but I'm reading cheapest tickets are $100. With the support that has been added it's almost a comical price. If I have had to debate paying $140 for Ozzfest then it's a no brainer this isn't for me.

Yeah, the price point is a turn-off -- it's quite optimistic to see that they went for The Forum -- they would have to be insanely confident that they're going to sell it out or just have a big crowd. The last time I saw a show at The Forum was for Rammstein and AC/DC. now those were two sold-out shows.

Oh man, FUCK those prices. I've seen Glenn and Doyle do Misfits material half a dozen times. I'm good. Glenn wrote all of those songs anyway. Adding Jerry Only on stage isn't worth an extra $100+.

Yeah, I've seen Doyle open up for Mushroomhead a couple of years ago and have seen Jerry Only's Misfits open up for Alice Cooper -- never seen Danzig live, though. I cannot justify those prices. Hell, I was going to see Doyle again at The Whiskey before they canceled that leg of the tour to open up for GWAR. Hell, I may go see GWAR at The Fonda instead. It will be cheaper.

I was going to try to get tickets to this show, but it was way too expensive. I was going to aim for nosebleeds so I can at least say that I was there, but those were gone during the presales. People are reselling tickets for ridiculous prices. Hopefully they'll add another show.

thats fucking insane. It really makes me think, The Ramones spent 20 years playing bars, bingo halls, recreation centers and every dive in America, never making a dime. Then, all four of them die. Now, in todays musical climate I think they could tour and sell out arenas. I mean if The Misfits can sell out The Forum. Life is a cruel joke.

I saw their first show at the Denver Riot Fest. It was good. Having never seen any of them, aside from solo Danzig, I have nothing to compare it to.

Outside of Danzig solo Jerry/Doyle never made a shitload. I know Doyle goes back to work at his dad's machine plant every once in a while -- this may be the first time he and Jerry actually make some money.

Jerry has made money with the cover band he fronted and called The Misfits, also from merch royalties by slapping the skull on lunchboxes that are sold at Hot Topic.

Don't understand this whole Misfits phenomena. I do like them a lot, but back in the day those guys were lucky if they could fill up a venue with 100 people.
