Bryan Adams pressured allmusic.com to remove his page

Apparently he did it because they disliked a few of his albums.

What a wuss.

Very old "news".

Pretty sure is was mildly discussed/mentioned on this forum a while ago too.

Yeah, we already discussed that here. Methinks he's a little thenthitive, but I don't know why allmusic would capitulate to his demand. If memory serves, the only one of his early albums that received a mediocre review at allmusic was Into the Fire. Reckless got 4.5.

I like Bryan Adams, but the only 2 albums of his that I think are really good are You Want It, You Got It and Reckless. Too bad he had to get so thin-skinned about it.

You should see what happens when someone requests "Answering Bell" at one of his live shows.

I've been in the audience for one of his solo acoustic shows and have seen his douchebaggery first hand. One of the reasons I never saw him again. In 10 more years he really will look like the Crypt Keeper.

Allmusic anounced today that "Thanks to that prick Bryan Adams we will now be known as Somemusic.com".

I knew this was a familiar discussion. We talked about it in the Christopher Cross thread a couple of years ago :

Odd, but there's no allmusic page for him. I've noticed this before. Bryan Adams isn't on there either. Anyone know why? Is it a glitch?

Bryan Adams specifically requested AllMusic remove all reviews of his albums/body of work, because they weren't quite flattering of him. Strangely, they complied with this request.

Those two are his best, I agree, but I also like Cuts Like a Knife, his first, self-titled album, and Into the Fire.
I hate all that garbage from the movie-soundtrack era, but I do like the anthemic "There Will Never Be Another Tonight", which is a throwback to his early style:

Never liked his music - even back in high school when he was popular, I always thought his songs were lightweight piffle. And I only use Allmusic when I want to check on an artist's discography, and I would never care about his, so, who cares? Still, I hope this doesn't set a precedence.
