The Las Vegas show, which was to take place at The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel, has been scrapped as has the HBO broadcast of the concert. The cancellation is possibly due to the inability of management on both sides – the Hard Rock and Springsteen – to come to terms on ticket prices. Instead of Vegas, a third Los Angeles show has been added for March 19th (see full extended schedule below); it is very unlikely that HBO will be involved.

Sorry dude. I don't know how reliable that site is anyway. I heard there could be an announcement today... but we shall see. My week of Bruce begins on Sunday!

Like the fact that he did an Eagles cover. Hate the actual cover.
I just got a copy of The Ties That Bind (4CD/2BR) for $71 from Amazon Warehouse. It was listed as "Very Good" condition with "small scratches on box". Turns out it's still sealed but there are some tears in the plastic wrap. Can't believe some folks would return it for that (or maybe it arrived like that and Amazon did a per-emptive thing and just sold it via Warehouse so nobody would complain).
Either way, that's a GREAT deal on the set that lists for $130.
There are like five more listed at Amazon in Very Good condition at that same price.

Anyone heard if they will release the concert as a standalone Blu Ray? Since the doc is on HBO & the CD's are on Spotify, I feel like I've seen/heard most of what this pricey box set offers. But since The River tour was the first real concert I attended, I would love to have the vintage full length concert. But not for $130....or even $71 really.

And to be fair, it's not the Full Length concert. It's 25 out of 34 songs.
No, I don't think they'll release it separately. They didn't with the DVDs or Blu Rays of the concert videos included in either the Born To Run or Darkness on the Edge of Town Deluxe Reissue box sets.

Good point...and that BTR concert is one of my fave concert videos ever. I didn't realize this was a truncated version.

In a recent Rolling Stone piece, Springsteen also said he has a new solo album in the can, ready to release sometime after the tour is over.

Thanks for the heads-up! I just called them and immediately got $25 refunded back to my card. At $45, this set is a no-brainer. I wonder why they have so many copies in "Very Good" Condition. Wondering if a shipment of boxes got damaged or something.
