I was in the lower bowl towards the back side of the stadium (not in the opposite endzone, but closer to that end than the stage). Ticket was about 100 bucks. Sight line was good, but they were pretty small from where I was standing. There are giant screens on either side of the stage though. Here's a pic I took for an example. Axl is coming down the stairs on the right, and to the left is the giant screen. There's a matching screen on the other side of the stage.

I can get tickets in the pit area for $250 a piece, but I'm kinda afraid how crazy that area might be.

Its Guns n Roses not Cannibal Corpse. I think you should be okay. Besides maybe Welcome to the Jungle, I can't think of a single GNR song that would get people rowdy.

Well I bought tickets, but not in the pit area. I ended up with seats 14 rows from center stage. What's strange is the seats were cheaper through the ticketmaster app than they were on the website. Like $100 per ticket cheaper even with the fees. Not sure why, but I'm not complaining.

Some advice on tickets - these shows aren't sold out, even remotely. Checking stubhub, if I had bought on the morning of the show, I would have scored way better seats than I had for about half FACE value (not even considering TM fees). There were people taking baths on the $250 seats to the tune of $80 a pop for FedEx. Also, the venue seemed to drop additional seats about two weeks before the show in premium areas without the premium pricing.
It's a phenomenal show. I highly suggest it.

Fed Ex Field had the 400 level closed off. Everybody got new tickets lower in the stadium.

I was there last night, it was pretty cool (I mentioned it in the concert thread). He also came out with everyone to take a bow at the end of the encore.

Adler looked like he was nearly in tears from being so elated.. He's wanted this to happen longer than anyone. This is awesome. I'm so happy for him.

I don't care how many songs its for. I don't care if I'm not there. I just want to see Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Adler take the stage together once and I'll die happy. Seeing the 5 of them take a bow together would be a dream come true.

Izzy flaked on Guns & Roses back in 1991.
I don't think there was any kind of conflict with Axl or anyone else, he just didn't enjoy being in the spotlight or whatever and walked away from the band.

I think it's the fame for Izzy more than anything. Just after he left GNR I saw him at the Avalon in Chicago in '92 (a tiny club) with the Ju-Ju Hounds touring his first solo album, and he looked like he was having a great time. Didn't play a single GNR song.
In short - he doesn't need the cash, doesn't need the hassle and he can play what he wants when he wants.

He did tour with the band in 2006 for about 6 weeks, so he has toured with Axl but I guess he just doesn't want to tour in general no matter the reunion.
