Of course for Joe Public/casual fans they only see a bandana and a top hat and that is all they need to know. I bet Duff is not even required.

I get it and it sells tickets. Who knows? They may actually get Izzy to play. We are all just going on rumours at this time.

Coachella will not be the first new GNR show with Axl, Slash & Duff back together.

They're playing Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena on April 8th and 9th.

That will be the first concerts in the new arena after the opening Killers concert on the 6th. That's the first big "get" for the venue.
If I wasn't going to the opening, I'd certainly be going to this show. Can't swing two concerts the same week though.

edit : Almost all the lower level is $350 except some $250 in the back end. Ouch. Some Upper level seats are pretty reasonable though.

Guns N’ Roses Tease 21-City North American Summer Tour.

After decades of bad blood and months of speculation, Guns N’ Roses confirmed Friday they’re hitting the road again on a full-scale tour.

The reunited rock group announced via Twitter they are embarking on a 21-city North American tour this summer, with stops including Atlanta, New York, St. Louis and Toronto. Guns N’ Roses did not provide information on dates or venues for shows. On the band’s website, a video shows fans at a concert, the words “Coming Summer 2016,” and a list of cities, accompanied by the group’s hit song “Patience,” suggesting more news to come.

A new Wall Street Journal story looks at how singer Axl Rose and guitarist Slash reconciled after years of animosity and lawsuits, paving the way for a reunion. Highly lucrative, reunion tours such as Guns N’ Roses are increasingly scarce and much-sought-after by promoters eager to stand out in a crowded market for live music.

Besides the 21 summer shows just announced, Guns N’ Roses is scheduled to play two gigs at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 8-9, before headlining two nights at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 16 and April 23. (The band is also playing two shows next month in Mexico City.)

I wouldn't mind seeing them but they aren't going to be anywhere near me. Unless they announce more dates at some point I guess I won't see them which is fine. I'm betting on one of these performances being filmed for a Blu-ray and DVD release anyways which would be cool too.

Guns N Roses played a show tonight at the Troubadour. Axl, Slash, Duff, Dizzy, Richard Fortus and Frank Ferrer.

No sign of Izzy or Adler, although it still looks like Adler will figure into this somehow.

GA tickets for the first 20 feet in front of the stage are going for 1800 hundred bucks a pop, not from a scalper, from Ticketmaster!!! I would have immediately laughed at those prices if it wasn't for the fact that I genuinely considered it for about half an hour.

The top price at the Detroit show is supposed to be $250, at least according to what was listed when I checked last week, when they weren't officially on sale yet. My friend is going to buy some today during a presale for Citi card members

I noticed that the $1800 VIP experience doesn't actually say that you will meet the band. Q&A with the roadies? Group photo on stage (perhaps with the other VIP ticket holders, maybe the roadies too if you are lucky?).

The best package I can tell is the Live and Let Die Package. 20 rows back from pit, center section, parking, special entrances, etc. $500 per.

I bought through the CITI presale and got B3 (middle) section row 2. Pretty decent seats. I'm curious what those will go for on the secondary market once these shows are sold out Friday.

^There's also a lot of empty dates between shows. Makes me wonder if there will be encore dates added as shows sell out quickly. For example, the opening date in Detroit is on a Thursday, and the next show in DC isn't until Sunday.

Mid week stadium show? Pass.

Ticket prices for upper deck seats were very reasonable, IMHO. Don't care enough to see what's left of this band for the traffic hassles.

I like Guns but no way I'm paying those inflated prices. I've watched the concert on Palladia a couple times and after watching the above youtube video I feel like I wouldn't be seeing anything new. Plugging in Slash over Buckethead, or whoever doesn't make it worth that much more. Also, if the reported song list is true, they aren't really taking any chances so why bother.

$59 - $250 price range in Cincy. Not horrible, but I don't think I'm going. Saw them back in the day, and Slash several times more recently in much better venues. Not a fan of outdoor stadium concerts unless it's a festival.

If both Axl and Slash had stayed away from old GnR songs over the years it might be a bit special, but this just feels "meh".
