No way I would pay those prices for about 10 good songs after I've waited 2 hours just to hear them live.
Did it once with Motley and half our gang was about passed out from the waiting. It will be the same thing. I think it will all implode anyway.

No, he is not. That's not what the general pop hears. The "sound" is Axl and Slash, that's what people know.

And I think Slash is the most of the unique sound. But it does need both of them.

The songs exist. Now it's just a matter of pulling them off live.

I love Slash's other work (have all of the solo albums and VR), but Chinese Democracy sounded like GnR to me. Not as good as the other albums, but still GnR.

Agreed. No matter what for me it'd be a drive somewhere out of town. So by the time I'd factor in travel costs in addition to the tickets unless the tickets are reasonably priced I'm likely to pass. I like the band to an extent but I'm not a huge enough fan that I consider them must see. Like you said there will be a live DVD/Blu-ray and album I'm sure which would be enough for me.

Its funny too how people are reporting that the original Guns n Roses line up is reuniting, instead of the "classic line up". No members of the original GNR are returning.

Isn't Axl an original member though? The group was LA Guns before he joined and officially became Guns N' Roses when he came on is how I understood it.

I've been wondering what is the deal with Steven Adler and if he would play at any of the shows and just now read there are rumors floating around that he might make a "guest appearance" but current drummer Frank Ferrer will do the main drumming duties. I guess we shall see how this all pans out.

Yeah, I think so. Axl and Izzy were in Hollywood Rose, and when LA Guns needed a new vocalist, they recruited Axl (and Izzy) and the new merged band became Guns N' Roses (Tracii was replaced by Slash shortly thereafter).

I've seen Danzig and Doyle perform Misfits songs and it's as close as you are going to get to a reunion.

Whomever is dying to see GnR reuinte, make sure to get your Coachella tickets ASAP because that will be their first and probably last show once Axel starts acting like Axel.
