Classic setlists of shows you've seen
I've been looking up old setlists online of shows I was at, and came upon this one--one of the first few concerts I ever went to. I remember loving the show at the time, although I couldn't remember exactly what was played. Looking back, this remains just about my perfect U2 setlist:
U2 Unforgettable Fire Tour The Unforgettable Fire 5th leg: North America 1985-03-30: Civic Center - Ottawa, Ontario, Canada 1. 11 O'Clock Tick Tock 2. I Will Follow 3. Seconds 4. Two Hearts Beat As One 5. MLK 6. The Unforgettable Fire 7. Wire 8. Sunday Bloody Sunday 9. The Cry 10. The Electric Co. 11. A Sort Of Homecoming 12. Bad 13. October 14. New Year's Day 15. Pride (In The Name Of Love) encore(s): 16. Knockin' On Heaven's Door 17. Gloria 18. 40 Anybody else find a great old one that you saw? |

The Firm. Kemper Arena, Kansas City, May 14, 1986
They played 2hrs and 45min. Took the stage at 8pm, didn't finish till 10:45pm. Played every song from both albums except "Together" from first and "Dreaming" from second. SETLIST Fortune Hunter Closer Someone To Love Make Or Break Money Can't Buy Satisfaction Guaranteed Radioactive Live In Peace All The King's Horses Cadillac Midnight Moonlight White Summer (from Page's Yardbirds days) You've Lost That Loving Feeling Tear Down The Walls Spirit of Love That was about 90min. or so FIRST ENCORE 20 minute of jam of Solomon Burke's "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" SECOND ENCORE 40 minute jam of Willie Dixon's "I Just Want To Make Love To You" Page just stood at the edge of the stage jamming down for close to half hour. Coolest fucking thing I've seen ever. Crowd wouldn't let them go. They came back out a third time, took bows. |
