Looking forward to giving it a listen. THS is one of my favorite bands. I didn't like Heaven Is Whenever much when it was released, but it has really grown on me. It's not good from front to back like most of their albums, but Weekenders, The Smidge, We Can Get Together, Hurricane J, and A Slight Discomfort are all amazing songs. I also like Touchless a lot. I think it was one of the iTunes bonus tracks on the album.

Need to pick this up but I'll probably put it off for a few weeks. I just realized the other day that I've spent more than $500 on records so far this year.

It's still going to be this year in a few weeks so you might as well not delay...

By the way has any other band ever started as many songs and used the word "she" more than the Hold Steady

Fortunately for my dealer local record store I get paid monthly, not annually.

I'm really digging this album. So far, On With the Business is the standout track to me, but it's pretty strong from front to back.

I've never really cared for the band previously, but this record is changing my opinion about them.

They should be a band I love. Lot's of trademark influence in their sound from other bands I like such as Thin Lizzy, Soul Asylum and others - but I've never really been able to get past Craig Finn's singing (or lack there of).

I'm enjoying it, but doesn't hold a candle to their first four records.

I haven't heard this one, and I probably wont go out of my way to do so.

I love their first three records, but since then I have enjoyed each album less than the preceding one to the point where, other than The Weekenders which I thought was great, I didn't care for Heaven is Wherever at all

Same here, better than the last album but, man I miss Franz Nicolay's keyboard.
