Billie Joe & Norah
Well, this kind of came out left field with little fanfare. But was released today.
Norah Jones & Billie Joe Armstrong covering a semi-obscure Everly Brothers album:
2013 collaboration between Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and Grammy winning Pop songstress Norah Jones. Foreverly is an unforgettable collection inspired by "Songs Our Daddy Taught Us", an album of traditional Americana songs reinterpreted, recorded and released by The Everly Brothers in 1958. The album captures the beauty of the Everly's stunning close harmonies to create a moving and powerful testament to these traditional ballads.

Re: Billie Joe & Norah
It's quite good and does surprise a little bit. I thought the Green Day trilogy was underwhelming as it gets. This is a good idea for Billie. It doesn't quite reach up there with a collaboration like that almost perfect Krauss/Plant disc, but it's definitely worthy.
