Granted, those sets from the Loma Vista site have that Rats picture disc exclusive 7inch.
I am so tempted to cancel my $55 one and get this. But amazon has been screwing me lately and NOT getting items like this at all and just canceling them on me!! They did it with DIO so I can only imagine how that wouldn’t happen here.

If you're still interested Amazon lowered it to $23.68 without sales tax, so you will save about $30 if you go that route.

Geez, tickets for Ghost in Riverside are now re-selling for $399. I'm feeling awfully tempted to sell my pit seat for a nearly 10x return. That new single drop caused prices to skyrocket.

If you do, I hope you get that price. That would mean that show is sold out.

At the Grammy museum? I hear it's only an acoustic performance.

Oh wow! Yes, at the Grammy Musuem. Didn't know it would be acoustic. It's listed as a 2 hour show so I won't mind it.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I think it would have been awesome to release a whole Live set of acoustic songs instead of the standard live release that just came out

Yeah, I've been converting some of their acoustic performances uploaded on YouTube to MP3s so I can listen to them in the car, etc. but this would be better.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Looks like they're playing The Forum November 16th and NYC at Barclays sometime in December. These appear to be headline shows, so can we say that they've made it?

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Guess we'll have to see if they can sell it out. Happy for them though, the ritual yesterday was entertaining and nice to get a little bit of what appears to be a new song (possibly 2 new songs).

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Forum tickets are on sale now. Surprisingly great prices - probably because they need to guarantee it sells well. $76 for floor after fees, and it apparently includes a physical CD or digital download of the new album, no doubt bundled to bolster first-week sales numbers.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

I'm still on stand by mode, because I think the price is too high. $76 at the forum for a standing room only floor seat is expensive.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Eh, that's about what I expected and they aren't gonna get any cheaper.

I see they're playing a surprise show at the Roxy tomorrow night. Tickets can be purchased at the Roxy pop-up shop at noon tomorrow. Would be awesome to see them in such a small venue but I'm already going to Riverside on Sat.

Yeah, those tickets for that surprise show at the Roxy are $6.66, but I'm sure folks are already camping out for them.

I opted for regular seat this time around. $43 each and I managed to get the front row of the upper section, but not way in the back. Given that I've already seen this band three times in SRO venues, I can finally try a different vantage point and save some $$. Regardless, this should be an excellent show in November. I can't wait to see what a band like this will do for stage production. I'm guessing the Maiden tour and other festival dates last year generated a ton of ideas for the band.

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Ghost played the Roxy last night -- their gran entrance to the venue reminded me of the beginning to the Motley Crue Kickstart My Heart video, minus the nuns on motorcycles part:

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

One of the new songs played is called "Dance Macabre" -- holy shit, it's an evil disco song! The opening riffs remind me of Kiss's Thrills in the Night:

Re: The 'Ghost B.C.' Thread

Ghost debuted a couple more songs last night, along with playing Rats, Faith, and Dance Macabre.

My favorite was a new instrumental called "Miasma", complete with Papa Nihil sax solo!
