Tyler the Creator: "Wolf"

This is a really interesting album. It's like listening to an extremely talented and intelligent kid who is also an immature little bastard trying to shock everyone with his fake "edginess". The beats and production are either incredibly inventive or flat and cliched. The lyrics are alternatively poignant, absurd, irritating, fascinating and outright revolting. The album is too long but still jammed with new ideas. I can't seem to stop listening to it. I even find the album cover simultaneously hilarious and offensive.

The only song I really liked on there was "Answer".

It's pretty dark. Domo23 and Cowboy are awesome as well.

I like IFHY the best, but this album so far hasn't grabbed me like Goblin did. I think he's 22, started getting big when he was like 18. Most of his albums sound immature cause thats the age he's at. I hope he doesn't go the Eminem route of bitching about the same thing on every album though. Honestly though i see a longer career for Earl, with Tyler taking on more of a producer role. It is kinda incredible this group of kids, very eclectic group too, has been able to put out some really good stuff at such a young age.

Earl is a crazy lyricist, and to think of how young he is...

He could have a very, very bright career ahead.
