Gordon Stoker of the Jordanaires has died

Gordon Stoker, 88, died Wednesday, March 27. The Jordanaires were probably most famous for being Elvis Presley's back-up vocalists.

But they recorded with several(!) other greats.

Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves, George Jones, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Nelson, Connie Francis, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Loretta Lynn, Eddy Arnold, Ringo Starr, Julie Andrews, Red Foley, Johnny Hallyday, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Sawyer Brown and Tammy Wynette. And, no doubt, plenty others.
