Best redone song by another artist?

I used to hate Brittany Spears’ Baby, One More Time, but then Jack Black redid it for Kung Fu Panda 4 and I really like TD’s version.

That explains the viral clip of TD singing part of the song that was all over the internet a couple weeks ago.

This forum has been around for 25 years and OldBoy thought nobody ever had a "best cover songs" thread

Not sure of best, but I really like Girl with One Eye (F&tmac--original by Ludes) and I Will Survive (Cake--Gloria Gaynor). I prefer Roxy Music's (and actually Lou Reed's version also) to the John Lennon version of Jealous Guy.

Every day is a new day, every thread is a new thread, and there is no such thing as a stupid question for OldBoy.
