Trent already brought back Robin Finck. So basically, the "reinvented" touring NIN is looking a lot like the old touring NIN.

Re: "Reinvented" Nine Inch Nails to tour this year

Just received an email from the nin website and it looks like they added a second NC date. Comparing the list from a couple of pages back to the one in the email and on the site, it looks like that is the only extra date added so far. An hour drive is far better for me than a 4+ hour drive.

10.21.2013** Raleigh, NC - PNC Arena - on sale 06.21.2013 10:00am ET / nin.com presale 06.17.2013 12:30pm ET

^ Cool. I hope that means they might be adding more dates. I would love to see this tour but honestly I have not interest in traveling for shows anymore. I love NIN but I just don't want to travel anywhere, for anyone.

Well, maybe I'd travel a little distance for Bowie...

^ Likewise. I was tempted in seeing NIN but then they said it was at Staples and that's reason enough to keep me away. I hate shitty venues almost as much as traveling far to see a band. I'm too old for that shit.

I got an email showing that Autolux is supporting for the last two dates of the tour.

So my question is, naturally, who the fuck is Autolux?

They actually toured with NIN in 2005 as the opener. They were the act before Queens of the Stone Age.

They are a decent band and their guitarist/vocalist Greg Edwards is from one of favorite bands 'Failure'. They play a weird combo of music land are a little hard to classify. They are in the spectrum of indie rock/space rock/shoegaze.

Ah, I see. On my local date of that tour, it was DFA-1979 and QOTSA. Autolux did not play.

I like Failure, but didn't know there was a connection. I'll check Autolux out... but I'm bummed that neither EITS or GY!BE are playing with NIN here, although EITS is doing a festival here next week, so that makes sense. But GY!BE hasn't done a show here since... well... I don't even know. As a Canadian band, I really hoped they'd play the last two Canadian tour dates, especially in cities in which they've been absent forever. Oh well.

Gary Numan is opening for the two Florida dates (Orlando and Sunrise). Holy shit, what a show. I may have to road trip it.

If you're ordering tickets on Live Nation or Ticketmaster, you're doing it wrong.

Get an account at store.nin.com. Once you're logged in, and the tickets are on sale, you should be able to buy them without a pre-sale password.

Thanks for that quick response!! And, done! Sorry for the daft question, but when the pre-sale tickets go on sale today, will that button appear on store.nin.com to click and order? Thanks!

Yeah. Theoretically... the "buy tickets" button will appear next to each date that goes on sale today. That's how it has worked in the past. Good luck! My local show doesn't get a pre-sale until next week.

Thank you, and you as well. As in the past with this particular venue for me (the Verizon Center), all the ticket brokers have blocked anyone from getting any tickets. The last two times I've tried, not a single ticket was available the minute they went on sale. And yet, every one of these said brokers had them for sale on their websites.

Hoping I can snag a ticket to one of the Las Vegas shows on the site today.

I'll be in a Final, but I'm sure my professor will understand

Re: "Reinvented" Nine Inch Nails to tour this year

Both Las Vegas pre-sales sold out at the start. The site announced a second pre-sale tomorrow, but I'm not even going to bother with it or Ticketmaster's Public On-Sale later this week.

Good luck to everyone looking to get in on this tour!

Looks like they're filming on a DSLR of some sort.

Lucky me, one of my notoriously ticket-saavy friends scored 2 GA floor tickets for Staples Center during the nin.com presale. And he offered me one.

From what I've been reading, sounds like it'll be a helluva show.

Nice to see David Lynch working in the video format. Fingers crossed I can score some decent seats for Staples later this morning...

Ahhhh that video is awesome. I really wanted to see them at the Verizon Center in DC, especially since the opener (Godspeed You! Black Emperor) is my favorite band. I can't believe they are charging $111 though. I didn't even pay that much for GA Radiohead tickets when I saw them at the Verizon Center. Hopefully they will do a second, less expensive tour.

Got my tickets for the Detroit show on Oct 7th. Looking forward to it as it will be the first time seeing NIN live.
