Honestly, these deals are decent but I have just about everything I want already. There are a couple that I might grab if I'm around when they go live but I won't be upset if I miss them.

Cool. Might grab that Bridgett Mendler cd for the kids for Christmas.

FYI...some of the Black Friday /Cyber Monday Week music deals are actually available right now at a lower price.

Wish they did this with vinyl.

AMAZON matching these too from Walmart! $5 each (Click pic for link)

Looks like AMAZON is price matching some Walmart Black Friday CDs early. Parental Advisory for P!NK and Pitbull, try getting those at WalMart... lol
Whitney CD is $5.99 (around .33 cents each for 18 songs) - I think they are matching Best Buy or Target on that one.

Some of the Black Friday Week prices have been adjusted now.

For example, I noticed that the Bond 50 music collection was initially listed at $8.99 for the Black Friday Week sale, but it is currently available for $6.99. But now, the Black Friday Week price has been lowered to $4.99.

Do y'all have prime? There's a couple titles on here i'm interested in, but i don't have 25$ of stuff in my cart for each time I order one, and adding three bucks each for shipping each time sort of defeats the purpose. Too bad the monthly prime got cancelled. I wish they would offer holiday bundling - hold all orders for a certain time period to ship all at once.
I'm looking at Garbage and the Dave Brubeck set.

Picked up the Springsteen box today. Pretty good deal.

I got the Pink and Clarkson albums for $5 yesterday and just got the Little Big Town Lightning Deal for $4.99. Then the Whitney Houston was in my Gold Box picks for $5.69 so I got that too.

Last year there were some items I marked my calendar for, but this year I just see some nice-to-have-if-convenient kind of stuff. Mendler, Krall...

Hell yeah. Ordered a CD yesterday and it showed up today.

Of course it's going to be a Christmas gift so I didn't really need it that quick, but still.

Yup, I'm a Prime member. It really pays for itself at this time of year.

Note that it's the 1-disc collection, not the 2-disc version that has bonus content.

According to the calendar it will be on sale for $4.99 on Sat, 11am -2pm PST

Re: Amazon BF Week Lightning Deals Calender - 2012 Ed.

I checked at 5:30 a.m. for the Dave Brubeck Five Original Classics and it wasn't there. Oddly, it was listed in the BF widget as 5 p.m. even though I'm sure the calendar had said 5 a.m. And it was completely gone from the calendar. I checked at 5:04 p.m. and the deal was claimed and I had to get on the waitlist. :( Fortunately I did get a chance later and got the deal.

I got the Bridgit Mendler but apparently I'm the only one. 45 minutes in, and she's 0% claimed.

Amazon used to pick a bevy of critically acclaimed albums from the past year for Black Friday. They seem to have dropped that strategy for whatever junk they had leftover this year.

SoSpacey 11-26-12 10:33 AM

Re: Amazon BF Week Lightning Deals Calender - 2012 Ed.

Its not just the albums. The products they have on these lightning deals seem like leftovers and stuff they couldnt sell. And the discounts aren't very good at all. Disappointing.

I'm interested in the Monk set this afternoon, though I'm pretty sure it already dropped in price last week. Back up to $30 today, though.

Re: Amazon BF Week Lightning Deals Calender - 2012 Ed.

I claimed the Springsteen Live set but at 18.49 ($5 off) I think I'll let it expire.

And my bad on the Monk. What I was looking at was an import with five albums instead of six, not the LD item.

I grabbed it too. I'd been eyeballing it at Target for the past few weeks. Rather than eventually paying full price for it, I figured I might just as well get it now for $4.99.

Re: Amazon BF Week Lightning Deals Calender - 2012 Ed.

Mendler was kind of weird because once I saw it flash to 60%, then back to 0. There were some other oddities with the widget at the time.

Got the Monk today. I'd kind of sworn off buying jazz because I don't listen to all the stuff I get, but his six Columbia albums were too hard to resist.
