11/12 - Minus The Bear, Murder By Death
11/13 - Two shows in one night: 1st - Meg Myers, Northern Faces / 2nd - Wye Oak, EL VY
4 show in 3 days.
Tried to get a ticket for Jeff Lynne's ELO for this Friday, but no luck.

On Friday the 13th, I saw the Misfits with She Demons, D.I. and The Two Tens. Got there for the tail end of The Two Tens and they sounded okay. D.I. was awesome. The She Demons were okay. The Misfits were awesome, they played the entire Static Age album, plus a bunch more songs. About 40 songs total. Got to meet Johnny Only after the show and he was really cool. He took pics and signed autographs with everyone that wanted one.

11/21/15: Blind Guardian and Grave Digger. Grave digger was as good as expected. They were only on for about 50 minutes and I wished the set was a bit longer. Blind Guardian was epic. They played an impromptu version of "Majesty" due to fan request. They played for over two hours. During the show it was stated that the concert was being filmed, so hopefully it will be on DVD sometime in the near future.

I am not a concert goer, but I am in love with Elle King. In fact, this was my first concert. Picked up two tickets ($15 each) for her show last Sunday at the Blue Note in Columbia, MO. Drove nearly four hours to get there and don't regret it one bit.
There were two opening acts, Skrizzly Adams and Horse Thief. Skrizzly Adams performed acoustically and was damned good for his four or five songs. Horse Thief was not nearly as impressive. It was as if they were trying too hard to be a band (if that makes sense).s
Once Elle took the stage, the crowd was hooked though. We stood about twenty feet from her the whole show and then got to meet her afterwards. Wow! She is a very genuine and fun performer! She is very engaging and had an awesome audience that night.
Afterwards (after midnight by this point), we were starving went to the local Waffle House and met Skrizzly Adams. I bought dinner for him and his girlfriend and chatted with them for awhile. He had just joined the tour that week but was headed home because they had to cancel the last couple of shows of the tour -- Elle Stood about twenty feet from her the whole show and then got to meet her afterwards. Wow! She is a very genuine and fun performer! She is very engaging and had an awesome audience that night.as asked to perform on Dancing With the Stars. Saw Evanescence in LA last week. Damn good show. Amy Lee still has it and her new band kicks ass.

My son, his best friend, and I went to a wrestling show on Saturday night. As we were leaving, the security guard invited us to check out the concert that had been going on simultaneously as the wrestling. We caught the headliner just as they were getting started. They're a band called Anaria. Pretty good. We didn't stick around for the whole show, as I had work the next morning, but we liked what we saw.

They didn't open for them last night in Dallas due to the delays/technical difficulties they had in Houston. The security guy I talked to in Houston mentioned that the crew started building the stage the night before.
I'm thinking about seeing them at the Prudential next month as well.
