I'd be more interested in Vitek wasn't dead and Decapitated had a decent singer. Or if I liked Meshuggah more.

I get that. I posted it for anyone who was interested in any of the bands.

I am; just getting a conversation going. I think we metalheads are a minority around here.

When I watched the DVD for Meshuggah's Alive it seemed like the band was not having any fun on the tour. I realize that it was winter at the time and Marten was lamenting that he would rather be home with his wife and newborn baby but they did not seem to be same band as shown in the clip compilation on Rare Trax.

Couldn't you say that for any band that has been together (and touring) for more than a decade?

I have many friends in bands and all will tell you as much as they love playing, life on the road is hard.

I agree. I do wish the Music Talk forum had more traffic.

A friend of mine sent me the password for Live Nation's pre-sale that was going on tonight.

Picked up a ticket for myself, so I don't have to wait until Sunday. Been waiting a long time to see Meshuggah.

There are plenty of bands that have been around for even longer than a decade, and touring, that still at least act like they are enjoying what they are doing. However, I think that may just be Meshuggah's style. I saw them when they went out with Tool, and they didn't seem all that into it then, either. The music was fantastic, though.

Love Mesghuggah - at least their older stuff. But I will not be making this tour as they're not coming very close.

I just noticed that it's a pretty short tour. 1 month long and hitting all the normal hot spots.

I agree. I saw them at Milwaukee Metalfest back in 2002 (the first time they played in the US) and they ripped it up on the small stage. Some of the gig is on Youtube ...

Thanks for posting.
Don't really care about the openers, but will go for meshuggah. I've seen them every time they've been in town since the chaosphere tour (2002/3?). Amazing band live.
