This Afternoon off their record Dark Horse - and almost all reviews mentioned that song as a single bright spot on the record.

 rotfl  at people who think Internet petitions accomplish anything.

And while Nickleback blows, they're no worse than a zillion other bland shit-rock alt-wannabes peppering the musical landscape.

Most of those groups do not get airplay, and most of the alt bands that critics cream over are far better than this Tea Party supporting white trash band.

Anyone who thinks Nickelback rocks needs to listen to country radio, that type of red state southern rock is all over country now. Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban are just as "rock" as Nickelcrap.

Can't believe they have over 50,000 signatures and Detroit is still having them play.

How many of those people actually live in Detroit and would be attending the game in person?

Did Billboard really name them the band of the decade in 2009?

Billboard's "awards" are based strictly on sales. They got it for being the best-selling band of the decade. Of course, many of the biggest-selling artists are solo acts now.

Thank God that it wasn't about who they actually think is a good band.
