Any all time song list that doesn't have Dylan's Like A Rolling Stone at number one isn't worth the time reading. It isn't even mentioned at all here. Subterranean Homesick Blues is a good song but not even in his top five of the 1960's.

I guess the Beatles went downhill after they released "I Wanna Hold Your Hand."
It was influential, and it kicked off the British Invasion. But if the list is going for influential, I think that when people say that they were influenced by The Velvet Underground, they are not talking about "Rock and Roll."
The funniest thing is that in another thread, Groucho posted the songs from his Ipod that are 4:00 minutes long. That was the only criterion. His list of songs is better than this one. Groucho wins over Time, Inc.

Didn't Time Magazine name Exodus the greatest album of the 20th century? Yet there's no Bob Marley on this list. Huh?
I assume the criteria was that they could only choose one song by each artist, but still the "one song" is often baffeling. Especially for the Beatles.
And if they wanted Pet Shop Boys for the '90s that's fine, but they needed to pick a song off of Very, which is one of the best albums of the decade and not Behavior which is just average.
