What are your Top 10 "all-time" favorite songs?

I have a lot of songs that I love, but you'll see me skipping many songs in any given day on my iPod, depending on the mood I'm in (which dictates what kind of song I feel like listening to)…..however, the Top 10 songs I listed I will never skip, because no matter what kind of mood I'm in, these songs always fit in. I call these my "Unskippable Songs."

01: Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana (1991)
02: A Horse With No Name by America (1972)
03: Turn! Turn! Turn! by The Byrds (1965)
04: Black and White by Three Dog Night (1972)
05: Kyrie by Mr. Mister (1986)
06: Mr. Tambourine Man by The Byrds (1965)
07: To Be With You by Mr. Big (1992)
08: Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes (1981)
09: Queen of Hearts by Juice Newton (1981)
10: Snoopy Vs The Red Baron by The Royal Guardsmen (1966)

I'm an albums person myself. I look at songs as scenes from an album. I have no songs on my ipod. Just albums.

Re: What are your Top 10 "all-time" favorite songs?

Intersting topic. I'm sure that my top songs change over time or from day to day, but these have been pretty consistantly in that list. In no particular order

Kashmir - Led Zepplin
Rock of Ages - Def Leppard
Winter - Tori Amos
Possession - Sarah McLachlan (original and the hidden piano version at the end of Fumbling Towards Ecstasy)
Landmine - Jonatha Brooke
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Jeremy - Pearl Jam
Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles
Sleep to Dream - Fiona Apple
Hey You - Pink Floyd

Honorary mentions when I'm in a sour mood.

#1 Crush - Garbage
Erase and Rewind - The Cardigans
Sour Times - Portishead

Re: What are your Top 10 "all-time" favorite songs?

All those are really good selections. There are so many songs out there that I only have one favorite that I love to sing: It Takes Two by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock. C'mon gotta give some props to that one. I even got a chance to rock it out in Barcelona Spain last week:
