Best song ever
I apologize if there already was a thread like this (Please feel free to merge this with that thread, admin.), but I had to post this, it's historic:

http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g3...f1738Fw_35.jpg One time I saw a promo poster for the record and someone had put Frank's facial hair on Moon's face! |

I love it for what it is. At the time people interpreted it as cute, but they were trying to make fun of valley girls. |
Re: Best song ever
I wouldn't call it the "best song ever".
I like the movie better... |
Re: Best song ever
It's historic...ally bad.
|
Re: Best song ever
I like the dancers.
|
Re: Best song ever
Deborah Foreman still looks hot.
|
Re: Best song ever
It's a good song, but not near Frank's best.
|
Re: Best song ever
that's seriously one of the most painful five minutes i've ever endured. obviously, promoting this song as one the best ever is, um, a joke?

Re: Best song ever
I'm a little surprised that they allowed the word "bitchin'" even once, let alone multiple times, on a syndicated 1980's television show.
|
Re: Best song ever
Wait, you guys have heard "Pac-Man Fever", right? How about "Puttin' on the Ritz" by Taco? Jeez, I feel old.
|
Re: Best song ever
Moon Zappa look like Meadow from The Sopranos.

Re: Best song ever
Perhaps it's not the greatest song ever recorded, but it was a Screamer of the Week on WLIR-FM in Hempstead back in the day, so, several other people thought it was the best song at that time.

Re: Best song ever
Zappa had hits with some of his worst songs. Dancin' Fool, anyone?
|
Re: Best song ever
Dancin Fool is horrible.
|
Re: Best song ever
oh humanity, what has been heard can not be unheard
|
Re: Best song ever
This was all over LA radio in 1982-83. Fucking legend of the elementary schoolyard. The song did not have a video did it? Surprising considering it's popularity and the popularity of MTV.
