Um, cungar and this guy need a great big welcome to the world outside their onanistic bedrooms, where gay guys and lesbians and girls 'n guys who go both ways and have different tastes all join in, too. Instead of bitching and flirting with homophobia (for what reason would you ever think it's your right to "question" anyone's sexuality??? As far as music history goes, and for my tastes, there weren't many girls hotter than 1980s-era Susanna Hoffs. That petite frame, those gorgeous eyes, her babydoll voice and that little black dress drove this high school boy bonkers.

Yes, I'm also free from heteronormative bias and reject the vapid, regressive comparmentalization of gender, the narrow constraints of traditional concepts of "attractiveness", and the reactionary boundaries of sexuality drawn by the priveleged white male Christian corporate consumer power structrue. I have too much respect for womyn and their herstory to define "hot chick" as a young female with symmetrical features and a body type that falls within a narrow weight range. I define "hottest chick in the history of music" solely in terms of their inner worth and the accomplishments they've achieved in their avocation--which of course means:

You have about as much of a right to speak on behalf of this thread as you do to "question" anyone's sexuality.... Again, why can't you just speak for yourself and stop trying to clamber your way to the top of a nonexistent hill you seem to imagine you're king of? THAT's what's "questionable" and suspicious (and probably hilarious if it weren't so transparently pathetic and petty), not anybody else's posting of their response to the thread's question.

I don't care about the intention when what I saw is the result, but I also don't believe for a second that it was ever intended as just an expression of a difference of opinion or a harmless joke.
