I accidentally double clicked and it looks like it's going to download the album twice. Is there any way to stop that?

My experience was seamless, bought it and within a minute (or less) all 14 songs were there.

I had no problems either but it was an hour after it was first offered last night. On the cloud player and downloaded on my computer.

I don't mind the occasional glitch, but I wish they'd give us some concrete information on how to fix the problem. I called to ask for help, was given a refund and told to rebuy it (which did nothing to help) and was then sent this useful email:
Hello, The default directory we save your MP3 files to is named "Amazon MP3." Please search your computer for that folder, and you should be able to locate the music you downloaded. For Windows users, this folder is typically within your "My Music" folder. For Mac users, this folder is typically within your "Music" folder. Also, you can launch the Amazon MP3 Downloader on your computer and view or change the default directory by choosing File/Preferences from the application menu. Your download location is specified in the "Output Directory" section. You can also have the Downloader place music directly into Windows Media Player or iTunes by changing the "Media Library" setting. If you downloaded a song from your browser without the Amazon MP3 Downloader, your Web browser settings control the location of the download. If you search for files with the extension ".mp3," you should be able to locate your purchases. Be sure when you are downloading songs without the Downloader that you choose "Save" instead of "Open" when prompted. Please only open your downloaded files after they have been saved. You can find more information about the MP3 Downloader and contact us via phone or e-mail on our Help pages at: http://www.amazon.com/help/amazonmp3 I hope this information helps. Yes, the server was really busy, but thanks to the Amazon MP3 Downloader program being able to automatically "retry" downloads, I was able to get the full album anyway.
Given it IS a new Lady Gaga album, I expect way over 1 million sales by the end of this week. :) |

Just bought it - went to my cloud immediately and downloaded it to my computer and into iTunes.
Took about 2 minutes. I wasn't planning on buying it but a good deal for 99 cents. |

I did the cloud upload around 8am, and was able to receive 5 songs right away. The remain 9 songs showed up around 7pm. This is some kind of way to promote their cloud service, probably costing them much more than the Angry Birds give-away that they did with the launch of the Android App store.

I just checked my cloud player and now all tracks are there. They weren't there just a few hours ago. I didn't do anything special. Just logged back into the player.

Also, because better services, like Audiogalaxy and Subsonic, exist that do essentially the same thing, but better (because it's free and there's no limit to how many songs you can have). I tried Music Beta by Google, but it takes so long to upload tracks that it isn't even feasible to use the thing.

I picked up the Deluxe Version from Best Buy today. I prefer physical media to downloads, so while this is a great deal, it's not one I'd want to take advantage of. Was going to order it from Amazon, but figured I might as well pick up a few Reward Points since I'm close to another Certificate.

I can't play a CD on my Android when I'm out and about. I can stream off my Amazon Cloud though. Plus, anything you buy on the site on the cloud is there forever for free and not counting towards your 5 GB or 20 GB of storage.
