The new Eisley album (released yesterday) is among the $5 albums as well. Anyone who spends $5 on the R.E.M. is out of his mind, or has never heard of a used CD store.

I never even knew there was a Ryan Adams and the Cardinals double album released in December. $5. Bought the Esperanza Spalding album and Sea Change/Beck.

7Digital has it on sale for $5. Not quite as cheap as most Amazon MP3 sales, but it's better than nothing.

I've bought about 50 albums from them over the past few years and don't have any complaints. No DRM, and you can even choose to download albums as plain .ZIP files instead of installing their download manager.

I thought there was a re-issue of High Violet with additional tracks? I don't see that in their CD listings.

You still haven't even mentioned the best thing about 7digital : They "Music Locker". They treat their service like Steam does : Everything you've ever bought from them is listed in a personal library, readily available for download again and again. I can buy an album at home and put it on my home computer, then later re-download it on my work computer to listen there. It's a REALLY nice service.

Search for High Violet Expanded Edition and it's there. It is a "limited edition" so it is still easy to find pretty much anywhere. Exact same cd and package with an extra cd in it's own sleeve all wrapped up in a slipcover. New tracks are worth it though, especially if you don't already have the album. It's $15.98 for the mp3 album but the physical cd can be found for much cheaper.
