So do they make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? What year would they be eligible?

Certainly, Jack White deserves to make it in, but can he go in by himself or only as part of his various bands?

And that's the last we'll probably ever see of Meg White. D'arcy Wretzky will finally have someone to talk to in the Land of Musical Obscurity.

2024. Debut album came out in '99.

One of the highlights of my life was meeting Meg & Jack (separately) at a club show many years ago.

I think they'll get back together at some point down the road, maybe once Jack gets tired of his side projects.

I like their studio stuff, but can only imagine a live show being disappointing due to Meg's limited skills.

Having seen them several times, I can say I'm fairly sure you're mistaken. Chemistry goes a long way and they had style for miles.

Exactly. White Stripes live were sloppy, loud, chaotic, about as technically imperfect as you can get.

Yet they put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

Loved seeing them live. It was always great because the music never really stopped they'd just queue into song after song.

Anyhow, I'm sure when Jack gets some more free time they'll get back together. The Dead Weather is pretty lame imho.

I have the exact opposite opinion. While I do like White Stripes, I think I connected more to the blues styles that were being explored in Dead Weather. Different strokes, it's all good.

Darcy has been on crack for years, it's the main reason she was kicked out of the Pumpkins. That horrible plastic surgery she had messed her face up but good, with the 'fish lips' and whatnot.
